Mission 

The FRANCOachat Procurement Excellence Center offers valuable shared procurement services to its member school boards across the province of Ontario. Its mission is to ensure open, fair, and transparent purchasing processes, in compliance with the policies and administrative guidelines of its members, while adhering to Ontario's best practices in supply chain management. 

Mandate 

The FRANCOachat Procurement Excellence Center is mandated to: 

  • Ensure that the acquisition of goods and services is done at a fair and equitable cost for taxpayers;
  • Ensure that all qualified and interested potential suppliers have the opportunity to participate in the procurement activities of its member school boards;
  • Ensure that all purchasing transactions are processed in a timely and cost-effective manner, meeting customer requirements while complying with applicable legislation, trade agreements, and/or management policies;
  • Maintain a high level of expertise and leadership in all acquisition processes through effective communication and teamwork, with the aim of providing optimal services and reinvesting the savings achieved into student education.
